Festo DZH cylinders are a flat cylinder designed for compact assemblies or machines were space and size are important factors. Festo is one of a few companies that manufacture flat cylinders and benefit from Festos superior quality and high-performance characteristics.
Despite their size, a wide variety of different piston forces are available from 68…1870N of theoretical piston force. The compact flat size and performance leading characteristics mean that DZH flat cylinders are used extensively in a variety of industries.
- Piston Diameters: 12mm, 18mm, 25mm, 32mm, 40mm, 50mm and 63mm
- Stroke lengths: 1…320mm
- Flat Cylinder, Compact Design
- Force: 68…1870N
Festo DZH flat cylinders are selectable with piston diameters of 12mm to 63mm and stroke lengths from 1.0mm to 320mm. All DZH cylinders are double acting, requiring air pressure for the forward and retract operations. DZH flat cylinders can also be configured with many non-standard variants making them even more adaptable for any application.
What Variants Are Available For Festo DZH Cylinders?
DZH cylinders have some different variants available for selection including through-rod, high temperature and a hollow piston rod version in addition to the different piston diameter and stroke combinations.
All DZH cylinders have adjustable pneumatic cushioning fitted making them ideal for high loads and speeds. Pneumatic adjustable cushioning is given the prefix PPV in the Festo part number.
- Cushioning: Pneumatic Adjustable (PPV)
- Position Sensing
- A wide range of accessories
DZH cylinders are compatible with a wide selection of Festo piston rod attachments and mounting accessories. DZH flat cylinders can be fitted with foot mounting, flange mounting and swivel mounting feet as well as numerous rod attachments and accessories; rod eyes, rod clevis and coupling pieces along with a multitude of pneumatic connectors and flow control valves.
